In February 2026, our practice was proud to support a local HPV (Human Papillomavirus) Vaccination Awareness Event aimed at increasing awareness of the importance of the HPV vaccine and improving access for eligible patients.
As part of the project, Lea worked closely with local GP practices to understand the barriers that may have prevented patients from receiving their HPV vaccination. Eligible patients were invited to complete a questionnaire, and the feedback gathered was shared with practices across North West London to help improve services and develop new ways of supporting patients to access the vaccine.
The awareness campaign also included local radio interviews to help spread important messages about HPV vaccination. During the event, eligible patients were able to receive their HPV vaccine through walk-in clinics, while healthcare professionals were on hand to provide information, answer questions, and explain how the vaccine helps protect against HPV-related cancers and other diseases.
